Commissioned under NABARD's Rural Infrastructure Development Fund (RIDF XXV), this project remodels 75.25 km of the WJC Augmentation Canal main branch from HAmidsta Head to Picholia Head — the merging point with the WJC Main Branch — in Haryana. The works involve full-length concrete lining, hydraulic restructuring, and replacement of aging cross-drainage and regulating structures to restore the canal's design discharge capacity and extend assured irrigation to thousands of hectares of farmland across the region.
